Records that
travel further
than the room.

§ 01
Practice

A record only sounds like itself once. We work until that sound is steady.

The aim of mixing is balance. The aim of mastering is to disappear — so the song carries in headphones on a long commute, in a luxury sedan, in a club at midnight, in a kitchen on a Sunday morning. Same intent, every room.

Every project passes through the same room and the same pair of ears. Sessions are scheduled, not stacked. Revisions are part of the work, not a favour.

§ 02
What passes through the room

Four formats, one ear.

01 / 04

Songs

Singles and album cuts. Pop, ballad, hip-hop, electronic — anything carried by a vocal. We treat the voice first, then build the room around it.

02 / 04

Duets

Two voices that need to live together without one dimming the other. Careful staging, careful weight, careful eye contact in the mix.

03 / 04

Operettas

Multi-vocalist productions with movements, choirs, and dramatic structure. We map dynamics across the full arc so each section lands where it should.

04 / 04

Anthems

National, civic, and institutional works. Built to play on broadcast, on stadium PA, and on a phone — without losing weight or clarity.

Working with the studio

Three packages. One standard.

Each package is the full mix and master. The differences are turnaround, revision rounds, and where you sit in the queue — not the care that the record receives.

Priority

$3,000per record

Reserved capacity, full focus, fast delivery. For releases on a strict timeline — campaigns, broadcasts, premieres.

§ 04
How a session moves

From brief to final master.

STEP 01

Brief

A short call or written brief. References, intent, format, and the timeline you're working against. Honest expectations on both sides.

STEP 02

Files

Labelled stems or a single bounce, your reference track, and any tuning or timing notes. A delivery checklist is sent on booking.

STEP 03

Mix & Master

The work itself, on a calibrated room. First pass is honest, not safe. We send it for listening on your devices, not just the studio's.

STEP 04

Approval

Notes go in, revisions go out — within the rounds your package includes. Final masters are delivered in WAV, MP3, and any spec your distributor needs.

§ 05
The desk

One room. One pair of ears. By design.

The studio is run hands-on by Jasim Mohamed. Every record that leaves carries his signature in the same way — a clean balance, a calm low end, and a vocal sitting honestly in the room.

The work spans the Arab music landscape — chart pop, classical-leaning ballads, operettas with full choir, civic anthems. The intent doesn't change: serve the song, not the gear.

§ 06
Inside the room

A calibrated room and a small, trusted signal chain.

The studio runs on a small, deliberately chosen chain — the same path every record takes. Consistency over novelty.

§ 07
Questions, answered

The things people ask before booking.

01What's the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing balances the individual tracks — vocal, drums, bass, instruments — into one cohesive piece of music. Mastering takes that mix and prepares it for the world: level, tonal balance, loudness, and consistency across an album or release. We do both, separately or together.
02How should I prepare my files?
For mixing: send labelled stems at 24-bit, with all timing and tuning baked in, and headroom of around -6 dBFS. For mastering only: a stereo bounce of the final mix with the same headroom, no limiter on the master bus. A full delivery checklist is sent on booking.
03Do you work remotely or only in-studio?
Most sessions are remote — files in, references out — and that's the default. Attended sessions (in person or over a synced listening room) can be arranged on request and quoted separately.
04What's included in a revision round?
A round means a consolidated note set from your side — vocals up, bass tighter, take 2 instead of take 3, etc. We address all notes in a single pass and send back. Changes to the arrangement, recutting vocals, or fundamentally re-imagining the song aren't a revision — they're a new session.
05Can you handle Dolby Atmos or vinyl masters?
Yes — both, on request. Dolby Atmos and vinyl pre-masters are quoted separately from the standard packages and need a small extra window in the schedule. Mention them in your brief so we can plan the session correctly.
06How and when do I pay?
Payment terms are confirmed at booking. Bank transfer is standard; other arrangements can be agreed for labels and institutional clients.
